“Amanda is very professional but also puts you at ease instantly. I never felt embarrassed or scared to tell Amanda things that I had previously found embarrassing. Amanda provided me with practical solutions to help with things and to change my mind set where I had previously gotten stuck and I felt there was no way out. Amanda helped me overcome complicated relationships issues and also work issues such as PTSD. I feel now with the methods Amanda has taught me I could deal with whatever I am faced with a lot better than before and I now have much healthier coping mechanisms. All I can say is a huge thank you to Amanda”

“ Earlier this year,  I experienced a difficult event. The trauma and guilt of this experience was giving me episodes of confusion and memory loss and also anxiety attacks with various ‘triggers’ .I contacted Amanda as I felt that I needed a trauma specialist, and we scheduled a telephone consultation for her to get some history and to see if she was the right person to help. Amanda identified that the episodes were of a dissociative nature and that she could help with a therapy. called EMDR. This allows you to recall memories in a safe environment and work through specific memories, negative beliefs, and emotional focus while engaging in sets of bilateral stimulation such as eye movements or repeated gentle taps. I had a number of treatment sessions and found that they weakened the effect of my negative emotions. The memories still make me feel disturbed and sad but are no longer disabling and I have had no more dissociative episodes. Amanda has a very calm and gentle demeanour which is soothing and puts you at ease from the start. I consider my treatment to be a huge success and cannot recommend Amanda highly enough.”
